We do not allow pets at the resort but if you would like to have your pet near-by Paws & Claws Rescue & Resort in Hackensack has a great facility and you would be able to visit your pet during your stay. 218-363-3343 www.pawsandclawsrr.org

Laundry

We have laundry facilities here at the resort for our guests on a first come, first serve basis. Longville also has a laundromat next door to the Grocery Store a 5 minute drive away.

Bait

We do not sell bait, however; there is a very nice bait shop in town on Hwy 5 right across from the chamber of commerce building. If you happen to get to the bait shop and they are closed, the convenience store in town also has a great selection of bait and is usually open longer hours.

Boat Launching & Dock Space

There is an excellent DNR boat ramp just across Girl Lake on Hwy 5 in Longville. Once you pass the Bait Shop you will drive about a quarter mile and see the DNR sign on the left. With each cabin rental you get free dock space with an electrical outlet. Please bring your own cords. Your boat trailer can be brought back to the resort and parked here during your stay.

Restaurants

There are several excellent eating establishments in and around Longville. Longville has Frosty’s Pizza and Ice Cream Parlor, The Wood Pile with Mini-Golf, the Longville Turtle Town Cafe, Patrick’s Fine Dining and the Anchorage Inn on Hwy 7 about 10 minutes from town.

Groceries

Longville has a nice grocery store that is open every day, but you will have to check the hours they are open. There is a Dollar General in town which has some grocery items as well. The convenience store in town is usually open longer and has some groceries, bait, tackle, and many other items.

In a hurry to start fishing when you arrive? You will find a link on the Minnesota DNR’s website where you can buy your Minnesota Fishing license on-line. There is a list of resident and non-resident licenses and the costs.
